FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can I apply if I am a minor?
A: We are keeping this zine strictly 18+ so we will only be accepting adults into the zine. (However, if you will be turning 18 before the creation period begins, you may apply).
Q: Can I apply for more than one position?
A: Yes! You can apply as a writer, artist and merch artist simultaneously, but will only be accepted for one position.Q: Are other characters allowed in this zine?
A: Since this is a zine focused on the relationship between Shouta Aizawa and Oboro Shirakumo, the zine should be primarily focused on them. Other characters can make appearances, so long as Erasercloud is the main focus of your piece. Characters like Hizashi Yamada and Nemuri Kayama are allowed to make appearances, as they are important people in Aizawa and Shirakumo’s lives.Q: Is NSFW content allowed?
A: The interest check determined that there was substantial interest in having an NSFW add-on. However, there was a lack of interest among prospective contributors. Therefore, the zine will remain strictly SFW.Q: Are AUs allowed?
A: AUs will be allowed in the zine.Q: Are headcanons allowed?
A: It’s best to stick to canon where canon is known, but headcanons will be allowed at the discretion of the mods.Q: Can we include OCs in this zine?
A: OCs can be included in the zine as background characters only. Aizawa and Shirakumo should always be the main focus of your piece, but we won’t say no to little OCs cameos.Q: How do check-ins work?
A: Check-ins are how the mods can keep track of everyone’s progress during the creation period. More information about check-ins will be detailed in the designated channels on our discord. The dates for each check-in are also provided on our schedule!Q: What happens if I miss a deadline?
A: If you frequently check our discord, mods will be sure to give contributors notice when a deadline is approaching. It’s best to inform a mod if you think you can’t meet a deadline ahead of time, so that we can work on making sure you stay on track by giving you a reasonable extension.We understand your personal life comes first, so if you work with us, we’ll work with you!Should you fail to respond to announcements and reminders regarding deadlines, failure to inform a mod of your absence, and failure to show us any progress of your work until after the 2nd check-in, will result in removal from the project. Remember, this only applies if you fail to communicate your absence. Should you inform us in advance, and manage to show us progress of your work, you will not be removed from the project.Q: How do extensions work?
A: Should you need an extension for a check-in, simply ask a mod for an extension, and (depending on your situation) the mods will give you an appropriately timed extension.Q: If selected, will I be able to share previews on my social media?
A: Please hold off on sharing any WIPs on social media. Previews and snippets of your piece will be used to promote the zine during pre-orders, so please refrain from sharing any progress online until the mods give permission, after orders are delivered.However, feel free to share your WIPs privately with your friends! Make sure that these WIPs stay exclusively private. You will be removed from the project should you try to purposely publish any zine work that has not been approved by the mods in the designated time frame, as this hinders pre-orders immensely.Q: Can I sell artwork created for this zine?
A: Once the zine’s shipping period has ended, and the mods give the okay, you are free to do what you want with your pieces, including selling any artwork. Please wait for the mods’ say-so before doing so.Q: Would Kurogiri still be considered Shirakumo?A: When creating canon content for adult Erasercloud, this would include showcasing Oboro as Kurogiri (Adult AU can still feature this if they'd like). HOWEVER, pieces that would feature this should do so in a way that still portrays Kurogiri as Shirakumo, in a sense. This can be done in a number of ways, such as a fic of Shirakumo's pov as Kurogiri, or an illustration of Aizawa trying to break through to Shirakumo inside of Kurogiri. Kurogiri AS Kurogiri is very different from "Kurogiri is Shirakumo". This is a difficult line to walk, so mods will work closely with contributors to ensure their Erasercloud piece does not become an Erasergiri piece.
